HERITAGE FORUM LAUNCHED ANOTHER LANDMARK PROJECT AT THE CORONATION ANNIVERSARY OF OLUGBEIN

To the Glory of the Almighty God, HRM Heritage Forum* successfully launched/Flagged off another initiative as part of her objectives of preserving & showcasing the beautiful Yoruba culture to the world. This initiative is to further extend the promotion of African culture and tradition to the youth community using social Media influence.

The event which took place at the palace of HRM Oba Dr Oluwole Makinde Olu-Igbehin Land hosted the NYSC members.

This workshop is one of the events for marking the 15th coronation anniversary ceremony the Onigbein of Igbein Land which was tagged “Why African Youths must be socially and culturally responsible on Social media
It was facilitated by an ICT and social Media consultant OTUNBA Rufai Adeleke and his team. It was a huge success judging from the testimonies from the participants, government officials and the public.

The event was chaired by HRM Oba (Dr) Abdul-Fatai Akorede Akamo Olu-ITORI and Chairman HRM Heritage Forum , Ogun state chapter.
In attendance were HRM Oba Dr Adeyanju Akanni Wasiu Olu-Owode Onitetiku Ota and DG HRM Heritage Forum, HRM Oba Dr Joseph Adeogun Ogunbina and his Olori Aderonke The Alagbore Orile Igbore of Igbore Land, HRM Oba Adedayo Shogbulu Alagbado of Alagbado Land, Oba Babatunde Shonola the Olu of Makogi Land, HRM Oba Olumakin Ogunmakin, Kabiyesi Onimokoloki, HRM Kabiyesi Oba Kolawole Showemimo and Olu Owode Egba, Kabiyesi Olu Ibafo, High chief Oluwaseyi Kudakin,
Engr. Ajibola Abiola, Director, National Broadcast Academy Lagos, Onigbein in Council, All Igbein Baales and the general public.

This event had representatives from Ministry of LG and Chieftaincy affairs , Ministry of Education, Nigeria Police and NYSC officials Ogun State. Many gift items and awards were won by the Corp members.

In his remarks, the host and celebrant HRM Oba Dr Oluwole Makinde Onigbein of Igbein Land and patron Heritage forum was very delighted for the supports he received from his fellow traditional rulers for the success of the event and the good people, Baales and chiefs of Igbehin Land.

The co-Founder of Heritage Forum, Rt. Honorable Oladipo Muyiwa thanked the traditional rulers for coming while he advised the youths to put into practice what was shared with them during the workshop. All government agencies present were appreciated.

The highlights of the events centred around the use of social Media in line with global best practices in terms of article posting and any other profesional usage for career development.
