Alex Iwobi and his Arsenal teammates Laurent Koscielny and Sokratis Papastathopoulostook part in a quiz on the club’s official Youtube page to mark Diwali, the Hindu festival.
Diwali is the most popular festivals in Hinduism and symbolises the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance’.
It is also known as the Hindu festival of lights.
To mark the day (Wednesday, November 7) with their Hindu fans, Arsenal got three of their players, Iwobi, Koscielny and Sokratis to answer test their knowledge about Diwali.
Iwobi got more points more than his teammates at the end of the quiz to take home a Diwali hamper.
The Nigerian player had fun in the quiz and got five points to beat Koscielny who got four and Sokratis who managed two.
The 22-year-old is having as much fun also on the pitch as he continues to make obvious progress under Unai Emery.
He got an assist last weekend as Arsenal were held to a 1-1 draw by Liverpool and will be looking to do more when the Gunners host Sporting on Thursday night in the Europa League.
